Yankee ministers in New York, Indianapolis, and Kentucky
Bob Dean attended the Florida Bible College back in the 70's at Hollywood, Florida. He continues to pastor the church that was started by Pastor Quentin Blueye of the Seneca Nation, plus the one he started a few years ago called High Point Community Church.
Bob was invited to speak for "The Gathering" in Syracuse, New York. We drove down on Friday and had a great breakfast Saturday morning with about 50-60 men. Bob presented part of his Indian heritage and had me show the Seneca head dress with the one feather that represented the Seneca Nation. I gave the gospel with three trusting the Lord.
I was privileged to preach at the Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church at 9:00 AM and the High Point Community Church in Corfu, New York at 11:00AM July 16th.
I met the Blueye family back in 1968 at the Roman Nose State Park, Oklahoma. I was honored to conduct the funeral for Sonny when he passed away to glory. His wife, Rachel, and her daughter, Quenna, have been special friends for over54 years.
This is my annual Indian ribbon shirt that Quenna makes for me each year. I love them.I remember speaking for Dr. Greg Dixon almost 40 years ago at the Indianapolis Baptist Temple in Indiana. Pastor Matt Roller and I met at the Grace Conference at the Quentin Road Baptist Church in Lake Zurich a couple years ago.
I was glad to hear that when he was the youth director, he took their youth twice to a Dare 2 Share meeting with Greg Stier. Greg graduated from our Christian school in Colorado.
This gentleman on the left drove 11 hours from Maryland. He found me on YouTube and joined us for the services.
I was totally surprised when this little country church (Lewistown Christian Church) was packed last Sunday morning. There were three that trusted the Lord at the morning service and three at the evening service.
Don't we look like golf pros? This is my son, Eddie, with his two children; Abby and Jordan.
Last Sunday we were in Kentucky, today we are in Tennessee, and Thursday we head for Georgia. It looks like we are headed back home to Florida after this Sunday. We have been gone on the road since January. Thanks to all of you for prayers and a very fruitful journey.
