The Grace Conference at the Quentin Road Baptist Church in Lake Zurich, Illinois was awesome as usual. Pastor Jim Scudder puts together the best two day conference I have ever attended. It cannot just be told but experienced.

David Rende took people from many states and in two practices put together a choir that truly sounded professional. What a great spiritual blessing. To believe this ministry, you must see this ministry.

I was privileged to conduct a workshop that had several trusted trust the Lord.

Please pray for our safety, health, and fruitful ministry.

Speaking for the Dayspring Christian School Graduation celebration with Pastor Dan Reehoff

 Located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin

The Dayspring Baptist Church provides me a nice place to park my motor-home with electrical hook-up and close to the church.

I first met Pastor Dan when we went to Israel together in 1992. His faithfulness over the years has been quite evident as I have watched God's blessing flow over this man's ministry. A man of faith must be a man with a vision.
It was an honor to teach in Sunday School about Repentance, Confession with the mouth, and keeping Salvation and Service separate. The morning service I spoke on the Value of Christian Education which was well received.

Pastor Dan is proud of all his students but especially of these two young men. They gave great testimonies in their speeches. Cole Reehoff (above) gave his dad a special honor in completing his education.

Their students looked sharp, perform with excitement, and enthusiasm.
Their music greatly prepares the people for the ministry of the Word.
I'm so Covid restrictions are gone and people are showing that "Meet and Greet" is back.
Pot-Luck dinner follows the morning celebration. Yes, we arrived back from the funeral of Denver Couch (850 mile round trip) on Saturday at noon. Just in time to get a little rest before this big moment!

Can you believe they are already filling their new main auditorium. They are preparing for 250-300 for their summer camp ministry which will run for 13 weeks. Dan Reehoff is now working on the upstairs that will accommodate about 250 students. If you have about $1,000,000.00 laying around to invest, souls are the best. I'm sure Dan would love to hear from you. He did not ask me to say this. Yankee

Please pray for our safety, health, and fruitful ministry.

WE WILL GET A LITTLE REST BEFORE HEADING TO THE GRACE CONFERENCE AT THE QUENTIN ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH IN LAKE ZURICH, ILL. NEXT THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.

I conducted a Memorial Service for my dear friend, Denver Couch

In Loving Memory of Denver Couch

Denver was passionate about what he believed in and equally passionate about the evil and wrong in the world today.  Gospel focused, he was so pleased about leading a contractor to Christ the last week of his life.  A few years ago, he had me fly to Bowling Green, Kentucky to preach after the famous "Chuck Wagon Gang"  would sing. He genuinely cared about the people he knew and related to, held his family dear, was very loving, very talented with a wide range of interests:  a musician; artist, patent holder for medical products, and operator of multiple small businesses over the years.  Always a visionary, totally confident and willing to tackle anything to overcome any obstacle in order to accomplish what he set out to do.

Denver and Jan were married for 54 years. Denver was 77 years of age when he passed away Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

It was a privilege to preach his home-going because Denver definitely wanted the gospel to be clearly given. There were over 15 who raised their hands indicating they would trust Christ as their Savior. As Paul says, "That Christ may be glorified by my life or by my death".

I love the folding  and the presentation of the flag to the wife.

This was one of the best military honors given at a funeral service that I have attended. They did an exceptionally great job in honoring Denver's service to our country.
Denver's latest goal was to build a hyperbolic chamber that would keep us alive for about 120 years. After my bout with Covid and his breathing problems he thought this would help solve both our problems. Now I guess,I will just live til I die and then live forever.

We had a great week with Pastor Lance Edminster at The Grace Gospel Church in Taconite, Minn.

My first meeting with Lance and Karla was at a camp several years ago. He looked at me from across the table and said, "You're my grandfather." He then explained that I had led Tom Adams to Christ over 50 year ago and that he led him to Christ at a camp when he was very young. He is now the pastor of this church and the Lord has surely blessed with people and great facilities. (It was a Roman Catholic Church on sale for over $400,000.00 but he purchased it for $50,000.00.

I preached  from Sunday morning until Wednesday night. The crowd grew each night.

The church was so kind to celebrate our 62nd anniversary with us on Wednesday evening before the service.

We were glad to meet Lance's parents.

The Giehlers go back 50 years to my first visit to Dora Lake, Minn.

Not bad for a Wednesday night crowd. We had several trust the Lord, but the problem for speaking for Lance is that he leads them to Christ before you can get to them. With so many teens there, I spoke on the Jim Tingen Story.

Please pray for our safety, health, and fruitful ministry.

We celebrate our 62 Anniversary with two emergencies.

We celebrate our 62 Anniversary with two emergencies.

It’s difficult to get a good picture when you’re on the road, but this will do. We ran away 62 years ago to Anderson, South Carolina to get married by the Justice of the Peace.

I have been preaching at The Grace Gospel Church in Taconite, Minn since Sunday with Pastor Lance Edminster.

Betty took very sick last Saturday and was taking to the emergency room with sharp pains. They concluded she was hurting from a kidney stone. Monday she was admitted into the hospital for closer observation.

She passed the stone Tuesday evening and has great relief from the pain. Her two friends from Bigfort were there to help comfort her. Maxie and Ladonna have been friends with us for over 50 years.

 PLUS!

We received a call from Jan Couch that her husband, Denver, had passed away. He was a close friend of ours and we will be going to Henryville, Ind. to conduct the funeral on Friday afternoon the 10th.

Denver and Jan Couch have been the perfect host. They furnished us with a great room, meals cooked specially by Denver, spaces to walk and contemplate the goodness of God, the time and place to fix my motor-home, in 2020 and opportunities to make new friends.

Denver and Jan Couch were led to the lord by Dr. Hank Lindstrom many years ago at Calvary Community Church in Tampa. They have been living in Henryville, Indiana,

I conducted a bible study in his home.

We will drive throughout the night to Pewaukee, Wis to get a rental car to drive to Henryville, Ind. After the funeral service we will drive back for services at the Dayspring Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Reehoff.

Please pray for our safety, health, and fruitful ministry.

Yankee and Betty in Bemidji, Minnesota 2022

Betty and I enjoyed Memorial Day Celebration with the good people of Bemidji Baptist Church. Their music specials truly prepared the people for the preaching of God's word. I have had the privilege of speaking for Pastor Jim Mucerino for a number of years. The Lord has used him to build a great soul-winning church with a great number attending the Dayspring Bible College.

I love it when I hear that someone has driven a long distance to attend the services. This young couple had been married only two weeks and were from Mississippi. They had heard me on YouTube and stayed over a couple days for the meetings. Craig Niemi and his new wife, Kristi, joined Jim and Robin for a noon meal and fellowship.

Jimmy Adams, (sun-glasses on his head) was just a little boy when I led his dad, Danny Adams, to the Lord in 1969. I am so glad to know he has found a good church to attend.

The people of the church worked very hard doing a three day yard sale where they had people trust the Lord a a gospel tent. They earned over $6,000.00 for extra church needs.

This is Jim's one month old granddaughter who stole our hearts. The Lord truly blessed them with a beautiful baby girl.

I just had to blow up this picture so you could see Ginny's beautiful smile.

We park at rv parks, truck stops, rest area, members driveways, or behind churches. What a blessing.

You may keep track of many of my messages by viewing them on my YouTube Channel at www.YankeeArnold.com.
