Yankee is selling his 1998 Freight-liner Discovery 36' diesel motor home $22,500.00

36' DIESEL motor home $22,500

Lord willing, I plan on continuing my yearly preaching tours around America. My wife and I  upgraded to a newer motor-home so that means we must sell this one. We left Tampa in January of this year and went to Flagstaff, Arizona, Denver, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minn., Chicago, Buffalo, New York, and back to Florida.

The speedometer broke at about 119,500 miles, but I am assuming I have put 40,000 since then. This year, it used one quart of oil while I traveled 21 states.  Tires are like brand-new.

Things I repaired in last three years: New Diesel Fuel Injector pump and new injectors (over $7,000.00), new air compressor for dash air (cool now), new radiator for engine (over $2,000.00) engine stays cool, new front roof air conditioner ($1000.00), new tires ($1,600.00). We put in a new microwave last year, plus a few little things.
Remember, it is old and has issues, but nothing that keeps it from running down the road. You don't have to look at it and tell me all of its' problems, I already know them. Buy as is, no warranties or guarantees.

TEST DRIVE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

There was a leak in the roof around the Driver's area, but the roof was resealed.

The living room has a slide-out.

The washer and dryer has never been used. Don't forget, the switch is under the cabinet left of the microwave.

There is storage area under the bed.

There was a motor cycle rack on the back but it is gone. My wife would not allow me to ride one.

Beware! Sometimes pictures make it look better than it is. There is some fading.

Zoom in and you can see the coloring on these two back panels.
There is two damaged panels in front of the back left tires. One will not open, but it is not needed.

I usually cruise between 65 and 70.  Average mileage per gallon is about 10-11.

Denver, Colorado  The generator runs off of propane's separate tank. We found that when we are plugged into 30 or 50 amp, a little electric heater warms the coach very well in winter.

Zoom in to see these two back panels and you will see they probably need to be replaced. I will not replace them, because they don't bother me. The awning needs attention, but we never used it, so you can fix it if you want. Price stays the same. Do only what you believe the Lord wants you to do.

Purchased as is; no warranty of any kind. No guarantees implied.

Faith without Works is Dead by Yankee

 Faith without Works is Dead-edited

Last night I took my nightly walk around my neighborhood to meet some of my neighbors. They appeared to be deader than a nail. Couldn't get anywhere with them, but they all agreed on a smile. Remember, the lost are really dead without Christ. Yankee

Maybe, these three ladies represent those who have trusted the Lord as their Savior, but refuse to live for the Lord. These following scriptures refer to believers only.

1Ti 5:6  But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

Eph 5:14  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
Eph 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Eph 5:16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
