Yankee and Betty are on the Road again. Update on health and travels.

 We left Tampa about noon on Friday and arrived in Murfreesboro, Tennessee the next day to spend time with my son, Eddie, and his family. Deborah is now 53. We then attended Mother's Day service together. Eddie says they had about 20 trusting the Lord in the last two weeks.

WE then drove to St Cloud, Minnesota to be with one of my dearest friends in the faith, Dr. Tom Cucuzza and his wife, Sue. I was truly pleased as how the ladies congregated around Betty to shower her with love, affection, and appreciation.

Betty is recuperating from her recent stroke and the church gave us 6 days in a nice hotel where see could get a good daily breakfast. My cooking abilities was limited to only scrambled eggs. The spot on my lungs was negative, my double pneumonia was gone, my a-fib was back to normal, my hearth rate that went to over 170 went back to the 60's, and blood-pressure returned to 120 over 65. All I can say, is the Lord honored your prayers. Thank you.

 

 

It is always an honor to preach for the Northland Bible Baptist Church. I really love their beautiful church and monster screen.

Coty here is my grandson in he faith. I let the person to the Lord that led him to Christ. He is the owner of the Little Winnie RV Campgrounds in Northern Minnesota. He donates the use of some cabins for Lance Edminster's annual youth camp. I felt safe around him for some reason.

 

 

 

Lance and Karla invited us to spend Memorial Day with their family on the lake. Do you see the corn-on-the-cob, B-B-Que chicken, potato salad,and wild rice with beans on the table? His mother, Barb, saw that Betty had everything she needed. We really enjoyed all this special attention. 

 

Betty has gotten some much needed rest, relaxation, and beautiful sunshine.

Most of these people are my grand-kids in the Lord. Lance is also my grandson. What a tree-of-life!

Yankee goes into hospital with A-Fib, double pneumonia, and spot on his lungs

 What a life! Never a dull moment! No, this is not my death swan song yet. I had returned from great meetings in Colorado last week and made plans to reload the motor-home for my remaining evangelistic trips. Within two hours, I went from feeling pretty good to severe pains in my chest and shortness of breath. The conclusion was that I was having very irregular heart rhythm and into A-Fib. My lungs were both with pneumonia where they found a spot on my lungs. I also had pleurisy. They took a biopsy and will let me know later if it is cancerous or not.

I am home and feeling great. Betty has greatly improved and we are planning (Lord willing) to leave Tampa around Friday at noon. How do you like my new pill tray? I've had prescription drugs before, but never on a continuous basis. It is a small price to pay to keep serving such a wonderful Savior.

I have been impressed to see so many that have prayed for Betty and me on FaceBook. Please don't forget others who are having many issues and are in great need also of your fervent prayers.
