I am sharing with you my resignation as President of Florida Bible College of Tampa. My wife has survived a heart attack and two strokes in the last year and a half. Last year, I had two heart attacks and double pneumonia twice. No! I didn’t die, but I am more aware of my frailties. I will continue my traveling ministries, my radio broadcast in Colorado, Tampa, and my new broadcast in Phoenix, Arizona. My YouTube ministry is exploding in people being reached with the gospel. My channel has reached a total of 6,444,306 with 374,636 views in the last 28 days. Read my upcoming schedule and visit with a friend.
My letter to the Board
Greetings to each board member of the Florida Bible College of Tampa,
As the time is passing onward, my tenure as the president of FBC must come to a close. I honestly believe the time is right to pass the baton of leadership to the next generation. I am now on my way to 85 with Betty, and we are having more medical issues to deal with. Should something happen to me, I would love to know that the Lord has given us a capable leader like Jesse E. Martinez to serve as your new president.
Jesse has my highest recommendation and is willing to accept this responsibility as quickly as possible to meet the needs of the college. As pastor of Calvary Community Church, he has a better grasp of the resources needed to benefit the school.
After much prayer by Jesse and myself, we agree that now is the time to make this work in having a smooth transition as we did with the church when he became the pastor after me. He not only graduated from FBC but has proven himself as a great leader. He has served as the Dean and instructor of the college. I believe he would make us proud.
I would greatly appreciate your vote of confidence in accepting my resignation from the presidency and as a board member on March 31, 2026, and to accept Jesse E. Martinez as the new president and board member.
The vote of all directors was unanimous.

I am writing to inform you that I have been appointed to serve as President of Florida Bible College of Tampa.
I step into this role with a clear focus on strengthening communication, supporting our students, and ensuring that our academic processes operate with consistency. In the days ahead, you can expect regular communication and continued efforts to serve you.
Florida Bible College of Tampa exists to train and equip students for the work of the ministry, and I am committed to seeing that mission carried forward. It is also my desire that Florida Bible College of Tampa prepares students to preach, teach, and defend the gospel, wherever they may be located.
