I conducted a Memorial Service for my dear friend, Denver Couch

In Loving Memory of Denver Couch

Denver was passionate about what he believed in and equally passionate about the evil and wrong in the world today.  Gospel focused, he was so pleased about leading a contractor to Christ the last week of his life.  A few years ago, he had me fly to Bowling Green, Kentucky to preach after the famous "Chuck Wagon Gang"  would sing. He genuinely cared about the people he knew and related to, held his family dear, was very loving, very talented with a wide range of interests:  a musician; artist, patent holder for medical products, and operator of multiple small businesses over the years.  Always a visionary, totally confident and willing to tackle anything to overcome any obstacle in order to accomplish what he set out to do.

Denver and Jan were married for 54 years. Denver was 77 years of age when he passed away Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

It was a privilege to preach his home-going because Denver definitely wanted the gospel to be clearly given. There were over 15 who raised their hands indicating they would trust Christ as their Savior. As Paul says, "That Christ may be glorified by my life or by my death".

I love the folding  and the presentation of the flag to the wife.

This was one of the best military honors given at a funeral service that I have attended. They did an exceptionally great job in honoring Denver's service to our country.
Denver's latest goal was to build a hyperbolic chamber that would keep us alive for about 120 years. After my bout with Covid and his breathing problems he thought this would help solve both our problems. Now I guess,I will just live til I die and then live forever.
