1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Charlie is free from death.

Will I die? Yes! Rom 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Rom 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” All have sinned, therefore all will die.

Do I want to die? No! There is a natural fear of the unknown. It is not an experience we can share with another. Does death end it all or is it the beginning of an eternity of pleasure or torment?

Heaven: Psa 16:11 says, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

Hell: Luke 16:22 says, “And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,”

Should I be willing to die for someone or a cause? Rom 5:7 says, “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.” Many have chosen to give their lives for various loved ones, their country, or great Christian causes.

Am I ready to die? Php 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. Php 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Php 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

2Ti 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure (death) is at hand. 2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

First of all, Charlie was sure of going to Heaven which can only be the result of believing that Christ paid for his sins on the cross and that he received the free gift of Eternal Life. This alone is the reason we may be READY to die.

Charlie was vibrant and compassionate for others to know this above everything else. He was WILLING to die for truth and stated it many times. He knew that saving America was getting America saved. Charlie was not AFRAID to die, nor did he WANT to die, but he was READY whenever it happens.

HIS DEATH HAS AWAKENED A SLEEPING GIANT!!!
