 Yankee schedule update for the Fall of 2026

First of all, I want to express my sincere thank you for your many prayers and generous financial support for Betty and me during the last 4 months. 

After Betty had a heart attack in  Kansas City, two strokes in Pharr, Tex., and a broken leg in Jackson Hole, Wy, I had to cancel 4 months of meetings across America. This was the first time in over 60 years I had to do this, but the good Lord allowed this new direction to take place in our lives at this time. 

 Betty has made great improvements in the healing of her leg, although she is pretty much limited to the use of a walker (most times a wheelchair). She encouraged me to try 3 weeks in our car to see how she would do. Here are the results:

We just had to stop at our daughter's home in Nicholson, Ga. and then I spoke at the Northside Baptist Church in Athens, for John Hembree. John is the pastor and had graduated from the Florida Bible College in Tampa. He is a superman on the clarity of the gospel.

 

The following Wed and Fri night services, we spent with  Pastor Neil Dearyan and Julie at the Crossroad Baptist Church in Fresno, Ohio. 

 Their Simple Steps with promotion.

 

At the last moment, they allowed me to speak for prayer meeting and then Simple Steps on Friday. The Lord has truly blessed these two with genuine Christian hospitality. They put us up in a nice hotel for three nights and showered us with love. Betty was impressed with Neal's helping her in and out of the car and pushing her around. These two smile more than any couple I know. If you get close, stop in and visit.

Pastor Bob Dean (right) has allowed me the privilege of preaching for him for about 25 years. He pastors two churches in New York. Tonawanda Indian Baptist Church  565 Bloomingdale Rd Basom, New York and  High Point Community Church  1163 Main Rd. Corfu, New York. Bob is one of the best Indians I know. He is also a graduate of Florida Bible College and was trained by the late Sonny Blueye.

I left Buffalo on Monday 3rd, and received these emails.        

"I had emailed you earlier about a possible booking following your ministering at High Point Community Church, as we are nearby. I know you’ve been dealing with Betty’s health issues and I’ve been praying. I wanted to reach out to see if it’s at all possible to meet up with you, treat you to a meal, if you’re still in the area. I’ve benefited from your ministry and would like to just connect with you. If not, no worries. Thank you and God bless.

 

 

Mark had started taking classes online at Florida Bible College.us and is now the pastor of Five Mile Baptist Church in Allegany, NY

WE MET!!! 

"Yankee, thank you once more for taking the time to have breakfast with us. We greatly enjoyed meeting you and spending that time with you.

Ted Horton went home to be with the Lord after a series of illnesses. He was led to the Lord through the ministry of Dr. Hank Lindstrom of Calvary Community Church in Tampa. I was invited to share in the service with Pastor Jeff Mims of  Life Gate Baptist Church in Arab, Ala. 

 

 

 

After the funeral last Thursday, we headed for our home in Tampa. We made a late call to our friends in Ga. and they graciously put us up for the night. 

Matt Brown and his wife Kim both trusted the Lord because of our YouTube ministry. His brother, Michael and his wife, Nicole also trusted the Lord from listening to my messages on YouTube. They treated us to breakfast the next morning. Don't tell me that soul-winning doesn't pay off. What a blessing!
