Spokesmen Music is BACK. Let me tell you the story.
Back in the 1960's, my wife was helping to put her hubby thru Florida Bible College in Miami by running a dorm for about 5-6 college student. She provided room and board (two meals a day) for $60.00 a month. This was a good deal for all. Although several students rotated in and out, three students were pretty faithful. That was Lee Patton, Bruce Porter, and Mike Otto.
On several occasions, while I sit in the living room studying for classes, Mike could be heard strumming his guitar and singing words I could not understand. He would come before me and ask if I would listen to a new song he would be writing. He would sing a few words, ask me if I liked it, and return to his room. Little did I know that he was writing a classic for the Christian world to know. The song was called, "Looking Through His eyes". This song has made a great impact on me for the rest of my life. Their new site has posted many songs I am sure you will enjoy.

“𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬” - written by 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐎𝐭𝐭𝐨 on the album 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘖𝘶𝘵 - is a deeply significant piece of music because it confronts the modern dilemma with clarity.
Most of us look at this world through our own eyes and end up discouraged, critical, or ready to give up. But this song dares to pray, “Lord, let me see this world the way You see it.” That's a dangerous prayer! Because when you begin to see people as Jesus sees them — lost, going to hell, yet loved by God so much that He died for them — it will radically change the way you live.
The lyric recognizes the world’s true condition: “a world of men who don’t want You, Lord, but a world for which You died.” Man in his natural state is opposed to God, yet the cross of Jesus Christ stands as the supreme demonstration of God’s love for the unlovely.
Instead of asking for new doctrines or experiences, the song simply asks for the eyes of the Crucified One. It takes us into the Garden of Gethsemane and says, “Let me feel something of what You felt, Lord.” It sees a rebellious, mocking, hell-bound world — the very world Jesus died for — and chooses to love it the same way He loved it.
The repeated refrain says it all: “For if once I could see this world the way You see, I just know I’d serve You more faithfully.” This is the language of a life yielded to God. When the eyes of the heart are enlightened by the Holy Spirit, self-interest fades and Christ-interest takes over.
This is not romantic sentimentality, for such a prayer can only come from a heart that has already been melted by the love of Christ. Rather, this is a petition for 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 (Philippians 2:5)— where the truth of our union with Him becomes real in daily living, reflecting His compassion, His holiness, and His surrendered will.
If you’ll pray this prayer and really mean it — “Lord, let me see this world the way You see it” — God will answer it. And when He does… you’ll never be the same.

We want to tell you about something that really means a lot to us. It works. It makes people free.
There must be thousands of religious philosophies men have made up, and it's true that, in God's name, these have sometimes been used to enslave men. Nevertheless, a Creator-Designer is there. He proves it. And He has made His love for us known by coming to this world and suffering, in our place, the penalty we deserve for our sin.
The Good News is that we can be made right with God and receive eternal life as a free gift because of what Jesus Christ did for us.
Everyone has one basic problem - sin. From this comes our many other personal and social problems. 'For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God' (Romans 3:23). God's perfection requires that sin be paid for. Jesus Christ made this payment in full when He died on the cross in our place. He then rose from the dead to prove it. "Herein is love, not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the (payment) for our sins" (I John 4:10).
Salvation - eternal life in heaven - is a free gift. It's yours the moment you believe (trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ as the One Who paid for all your sin. We could never, by our works, be good enough to earn eternal life. 'For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast' (Ephesians 2:8,9).
And it's forever. God promises that He will never take it back. ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.' John 3:16.
We hope, if you haven't already trusted Christ, that you will now.
And, if you have, we hope that our music - what it says and the way it is said - will really encourage you to be one of those who are passing the Good News on to others.
Free men serving because of love.
