Look what the Lord has given to the Florida Bible College of Tampa

The 2022 Library of Florida Bible College

Florida Bible College of Tampa has received by the gracious gift of Dr. Stan Ponz, president of Florida Bible College of Orlando (now Clarity Christian College) the entire library that he held that was the library of the original Florida Bible College.  Dr. Ponz is moving his college to a new physical facility, and thought the best location for this treasure was Florida Bible College.  We in Tampa were glad to accept the responsibility and have purchased some 35 bookcases (adding to the 19 already in use), and dedicated two rooms to this expanded library.  Dr. Bob Gilbert and Dr. Stan Ponz made several trips bringing the 175 boxes of books and library equipment from Orlando to Tampa, and Bob has been working at shelving, putting them in order, and making them useful to all.  The cost of the new bookcases was quickly covered by gifts from friends of the FBC ministry.  Praise the Lord for his goodness – and thank you, Dr. Ponz.

See that big beautiful smile? Dr. Bob Gilbert was excited to go to work with this great addition to our library. It is always best to have a hard copy if ever the internet goes down. Special thanks for the loving donations of the books and the shelves.

These pictures only show half of all the books in our library. What a great wealth of knowledge that has been made available for the students.

Greg Stier, of the Dare 2 Share Ministries, flew into Tampa this week. It is always enjoyable to spend time with such a great soul-winner. The Lord has opened many doors for Greg to preach the gospel. He just recently returned from speaking in many countries in Africa and two sessions on the James Dobson Radio Broadcast.

  

 

I was privileged to speak at Calvary Community Church yesterday in Tampa, Florida. It is always great to eat and fellowship with co-laborers in the ministry. This is Joe and Terry Potter up front and Bob and Cindy Gilbert to the right.
