Yankee Schedule for April, May, and June

Last Sunday, April 13, I was privileged to preach for Pastor JB Hixon at the Plum Creek Chapel in Sedalia, CO. This is truly a Free Grace Church with a genuine love for the clear gospel. Both morning services were fully attended with the presence of some of my radio listening audience. This is a picture of a few people I ministered to about 50 years ago when I pastored in Arvada, Colo.

"It was worth the 50 minute drive to go hear Dr Ralph 'Yankee' Arnold preach at Plum Creek Chapel in Sedalia, CO. What a tsunami of great memories flooded me this am. Yes he started his sermon by playing the harmonica and concluded it with a clear Gospel presentation, using his wallet to represent sin (if you know, you know.)

 

I also got to hang with Keith and Michelle Newhard, Jon Sperling and Peggy Sperling and Pam Wood, all former teachers, youth leaders and role models at Yankee’s old church.

 

If it wasn’t for Yankee Arnold I would not be leading Dare 2 Share today. He is the one who gave me the vision and practical strategy to unleash the power of the Gospel through the potential of teenagers.

I’ll be forever grateful for his influence on my life in those early years."

It was Keith and Michelle that promoted my coming to Plum Creek Chapel.  I had the honor of performing their marriage in Dec 1983, 41 years ago. Michelle trusted the Lord through our youth ministry and graduated from our Bible college. Keith taught in our Christian School and after their marriage, they served as missionaries. I appreciated them sharing their pictures that I had never seen. Hope you will enjoy them.
