60th Anniversary

Yankee and Betty celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on June 8th and Betty made a special attempt to attend after breaking her leg.
Pastor Ralph Arnold was the pastor from 2009 until Pastor Jesse Martinez
became the pastor until the present time.
George and Tina Tripp were greatly used by the Lord in guiding the "REFRESH" to the church facilities in time for the anniversary. Everyone was greatly impressed on the new beauty and much needed upgrade of Calvary. Special thanks to all who donated financially and volunteered with much appreciated labor.
The attendance filled the auditorium with members, visitors from time passed, and many new visitors. The Lord blessed with 7 trusting the Lord for salvation. The sweet spirit of reunion and fellowship was truly "Refreshing".
Calvary is blessed to have such a great choir leader in James Maloney. He came from the ministry of Quentin Road Baptist Church in Lake Zurich, and has proven to be a great asset. I love his singing.
On behalf on the church, Trent presents a special gift to Jesse and Kyla. Jesse is continuing to present the Word of God in an understandable way for the salvation of souls and the growth of each believer. As Philip saith unto Nathanael, "Come and see".
I thought for a moment we were at the marriage supper of the Lamb. Just think, no one will be missing at the great family reunion of God's people.
