Yankee Preaches in Trinidad

This was my fourth trip to Trinidad to be with Dr. Birbal Boodram and his wife, Annette. They also graduated from Florida Bible College in 1973. As a national, he returned to his homeland to begin a ministry to reach his people. After winning many souls to Christ, he began the Kelly Community Church and Trinidad Bible Institute. Later he joined with Dr. Ron Seecharan to host the Solid Rock Theological Seminary.

Sam Samaroo and his wife, Savi, is sitting beside Betty. He was led to the Lord by Birbal and assist in all facets of the ministry. Daniel and his wife (sitting across from me) is Birbal's brother and both attended the classes. 

(Not all are pictured) Besides speaking on Saturday for their 48th Church Anniversary, two Sunday services, I was privileged to speak three hours each night for five days for the Solid Rock Theological Seminary. That was a  total of 18 difference messages. It was great having 10-15 pastors from the nearby community to teach on the dangers of Calvinism and how to preach the simplicity of the Gospel.

Some of the points I made:

For the Calvinists and the Armenians: There is really no difference because neither knows for sure they will make it until they die. They both must LIVE a life above sin until the end.

All the evidence used to prove one is REALLY saved proves they are REALLY not.

You have never (nor can you ever) make an accurate list of proofs that you are PERSEVERING TO THE END.

If it is possible to lose salvation, YOU ALREADY HAVE! 

How do you prove you have not lost your salvation?

How do you prove you prove you still have your salvation?

If only the Lord can save you, how does he tell you when he quit saving you?

Can you lose your salvation without you knowing it?

Could you be deceived into believing you are still saved, even tho you have already lost it?

If you ever lose it, what proof proves you have it back?

If you added your obedience to prove you are saved, would salvation still be by grace?

How do you prove you are one of the elect (chosen by God before you believed)?

If you were chosen before you were born, were you ever really lost (meaning-in danger of going to Hell)?

If Christ did not die for those who were not chosen, why preach the gospel to those who can't believe?

Can you find a verse that clearly says you can lose your salvation? I'm waiting.

Can you find a scripture or story in the Bible where a person was saved, lost it, and then was saved again?

THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL: The gospel of salvation is free from beginning to the end. NO WORKS of man is now nor ever required to secure salvation, to maintain salvation, or to prove salvation. The gospel that the Lord has provided for mankind is only ETERNAL SECURITY. To be ashamed of ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED is to not only be ashamed of the Gospel, BUT OF CHRIST HIMSELF.

There can be no surrender, no compromise,  no respect to a close imitation. Eternal Security is the only proof that one truly, genuinely, really believes in salvation by GRACE alone. No other evidence is necessary or possible.

 We enjoyed a wonderful trip to Maracas Bay for a time at the beach and a great shark sandwich.

What a trooper! Betty had two shots in both knees the day we headed to Miami for Trinidad. She had great difficulty walking but she made it. The Lord truly blessed me with just the right woman. She set in that wheel chair for 10 hours. Our flight was delayed by 7 hours. We arrived back into Miami at 3:30am, got a taxi to our car and drove back to Tampa. We got back at 9am. Sunday. I quickly shaved and showered and made it to Calvary Community Church just in time for the service. On Monday we headed to Athens, Ga. to meet the kids and grand-kids for Thanksgiving.

 Last year at this time, I seriously considered stopping my Yankee Arnold Ministries. I was down to $30,000.00 in our account with contracts for the radio stations needing my signature to commit to the following year.

 I brought my need to the Lord, and he told me to share it with you. So, I did. Your response was overwhelming. I was able to sign contracts for the radio stations and continue paying for the three staff workers for 2024. Thank you so much.

 Greg does all the radio programs for all stations and podcasts (over 172,600 plays). Louie takes care of editing all videos for YouTube and filling book orders from the bookstore. David hosts our internet ministry, unifies Paypal, Bank, and websites info. Their labors enable me freedom to travel America and preach in churches, revivals, camps, and Bible conferences.

 Your financial support this year has enabled me to keep the clear gospel message on the air. With the 4 stations in Florida that reaches about 5 million and the 3 stations in Colorado that reaches between 10-15 million, you are helping me to reach thousands that perhaps would never have heard the gospel.

My YouTube Channel has gotten 3,835,391 views as of this week. There is an average of 80-90,000 views a month. “What If A Man WILLFULLY Sins AFTER he Is Saved” has over 595,980 views.

 I will be 83 on February 04, 2025. I am pleased that many supporters see me as their missionary for these last days. I fully realize that 2025 may bring changes in people’s financial commitments due to the economy or other pressing obligations. They owe me no apology or explanation. I get it. I totally understand. I am still amazed at the generous donations that have allowed me to reach people with the gospel over so many years. Just pray that others will fill the gap as they have the means to do so.  

 Last year Betty and I traveled to 21 states in 9 months. We are now making plans for 2025. My tentative plans (Lord willing) are to travel from Tampa in January toward Arizona, Dallas to Denver, Wyoming to South Dakota, Minnesota to Wisconsin, Chicago to Michigan, Ohio to Buffalo, Indianapolis to Kentucky, Tennessee to Georgia and back to Tampa. (Plus, many stops in between).

Yankee's Update for September, 2024 Lots of Pictures

 Evangelist Freddie Coile is now a full time resident of those heavenly mansions. We served the same Lord, in the same churches, in the same camps with the same gospel for many years.

  

 Pastor Barry Black and Pastor John Hembree conducted Freddie's "Celebration of Life" at the Northside Baptist Church of Athens, Ga. on September 14th. With 350-400 in attendance, it seemed more like a Heavenly Family Reunion.

Pastor Mike McFarlin and his wife came from Texas to be with the Coile family. They are pictured here with Josiah and his wife. Josiah will continue the Grace Farm Ministry for his dad. This is a picture of the lodge.

Missionary Kees Boers came to visit in Tampa from Bolivia. He is truly a gentle giant that the Lord is using to reach many little ones. This is a letter I received from Nuria that he led to the Lord. Nuria was Twenty years old Sept. 7th !!!

This is a letter I just received from Pastor Lance Administer from Taconite, Minn. Not only is he my grandson in the faith, but the pastor of  Grace Gospel Church. He actually goes to these pastors to verify they are clear on the gospel.

"Pastor, over a year ago, we mailed a case of your books to Cameroon. Well, he handed out his last book today. We'll send him another case but this is what he had shared about what the pastor said about your book."

"After giving the last copy of this book to pastor Wilson he expressed his gratitude to God for a timely gift. He added after going through the introduction "The gospel driven man should be a must read book to any pastor" 

I just had Louie, who works for Yankee Arnold Ministries, to mail two more cases of books. That's 98 books. This is the same books all students of Florida Bible College are required to have.

I just finished a great revival meeting with the people of Northside Baptist Church of Athens, Ga. Pastor John Hembree at the age of 47 came to FBC of Tampa from Northside and after graduating he returned to work under Freddie Coile and now serves as the pastor.

We were truly blessed to have Doug Stroup's family provide excellent music for us on Tuesday night.

I believe I have some young preacher boys coming up. They attended all 5 meetings. Look close ad you might see Janet Coile, Benjamin, and Bethany.

I had not seen the Payne family for several years, since I visited in their home in North Carolina. I was greatly surprised and honored to see Kendron and Jamie with the two daughters. My how they have grown. They drove over 3 hours one way to be there. They found me on the internet.

Two and a half years ago, I was laying in the VA Hospital in Tampa, Florida with Covid. Many people prayed for me. One of those influential men was Mike Gallager who host a daily radio broadcast every day across America. Many times I would look from my studio into the next and see him doing his three hour broadcast. I was with him the other night when he was on the Larry Elders Show and wanted to thank him, because I received many calls from across the nation of people who prayed for me. He is a great patriot for America.

Louie Hernandez

Louie has been faithfully taking people soul-winning every Saturday for many years. He usually averages 20-50 every week who trust in Christ as their Savior. He had trained teachers, students, ranch kids, laymen, doctors, lawyers, and every-day housewives. This was last Saturday that included one doctor and one lawyer. Two new ladies joined the group for the first time, thanks to Tina Tripp for bringing 4 friends and her husband George. This is not your typical church visitation, but confrontational evangelism.

I will be speaking on “THE KEY TO DISCIPLESHIP IS BEING COPYABLE”.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (1 Corinthians 14:33)

Truth must be taught through simplicity. GETTING OUR MESSAGE OUT IS NOT THE SAME AS GETTING IT ACROSS.

Our Gospel is not clear just because we know what we said, but when the lost man understands what we said, and discipleship is not as effective, if the walk and the talk of the teacher is not compatible with the scriptures. We must keep the complexity and the seeming contradictions of scripture simple and easy to understand.

If our messages are not true and clear; our people’s salvation and service will be overshadowed with a great cloud of doubts that will produce an unstable, confused, and frustrated congregation.

Evangelist Freddie Coile went home to be with Jesus around 2 AM Sunday morning. Since there is no night in Heaven, we will all get there on the same day. Psa 16:11 "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Six times in the Old Testament, the scriptures use the phrase, "Gathered unto his people". As the Lord promised, in His presence there is "NOW FULLNESS of JOY" and "PLEASURES FOREVER MORE." Your prayers were heard and Freddie was eternally healed. Death is our constant reminder concerning the VALUE of LIFE. Let it teach us to number our days and apply our hearts to wisdom. I first met Freddie in Comer, Georgia when he was a teenager. I watched him grow into a strong young warrior for Christ over the years. In 1991, he told me he wanted to be a traveling evangelist. We supported his ministry for these last 33 years. He was my main camp speaker for all of my camps in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. He could do it all. I had him as our keynote speaker at everyone of our Mission Conferences. He was true in doctrine, faithful in his gospel presentation, and solid in his personal testimony. Besides preaching around the country, he was the elder at the Northside Baptist church in Athens, Georgia, built Grace Farm Campgrounds to continue reaching teenagers, and managed to raise a tremendous family that not only knows the Lord, but loves the Lord's work as well.
